Configuration

The below deck layout features raised deck salon and gourmet galley, port and starboard companionway access to staterooms with excellent ventilation, ample stowage and well appointed head compartments.

Aft of the salon seating to stb, is the navigation and main electrical breaker panel area. Above the breakers are the VHF radio and Hi-Fi system. There are three hinged, panels that provide access to electrical fuses,  main electrical breakers, inverter and auto pilot drive motor. It will not normally be required to access these systems during the coarse of a charter. The one exception may be the main windlass breaker located below the chart table to starboard.
 

VOYAGE 380
 

Access to the interior bilge areas is via sole hatches at the foot of the port and starboard companionways. The shallow sump fwd houses the automatic bilge pump and float switch the aft one, sea cock outlet, shower sump, pickup for manual bilge pump and pipe work to the holding tank.
 

The depth sounder transducer and the log paddle wheel through hulls are located in the fwd cabins, one port and one starboard.

In the case of the VY 440 they are accessed through the lower, forward facing locker door. On the VY 380 they are located in the void below the bed area.
