There is a hot and cold water mixer tap and trigger operated shower in each head compartment. To start the water flow, raise the lever on the mixer tap and rotate to left or right. Press the trigger down on the shower head or raise the trigger vertically for continuous flow. The water is evacuated from the shower sump by an automatic pump. You will hear this pump and the water pressure pump running when the shower is in use , this is normal. After you have finished using the faucet, turn off the lever at the mixer tap and release the pressure at the shower head, this prevents loss of water in the event of a hose leaking.

The hot water is heated by a heat exchanger on the main engines. Just after the motors have been run the water can be very hot. Always set the mixer tap to cold first and add in hot slowly. An adult should set the water temperature for young children.

Take care not to bring beach sand into the shower compartments, it will collect in the sump drains and block the outlet pipes. Sand can be rinsed from bathing suits at the transom showers on the stern of the boat.
